Wireless connectivity issues
Hey guys,
Quite recently when i power up my laptop(DELL Vostro 1400, windows vista home basic) i get connected to the wireless network. But after say 10 mins the connections says local only and even if i attempt to reconnect to the network it remains the same(disconnects and connects as local only). I tried restarting the laptop and the same thing happened after 10 mins. I have already tried resetting the wireless card and installing the modem driver again. But i am able to ping my router and even ping google.com from the command prompt when it says local only. I read in a forum about "hotfix" solution for vista but i am not sure whether it is for me. The router seems to work fine for my room mates so i guess it is not a router issue as well. Can someone help me with this? Kindly let me know if you want further details
