Mat****a dvd ram uj-850s

hi..Got trouble with my dvd-burner... Can burn movies but not music...And I`m new with pcs... Do I need a update or something? My pc is just a year old,but got the problem early... windows media player dont burn music at all anymore..If someone could help me,and maybe guide me,I`ll be very happy...
