Problem with Windows MAIL
We are running Windows Mail on our Vista Home Basic computer.
Everything was fine until a few days ago and then Mail, for no reason stopped running.
Now it wont load. It seems to load a few of the drivers as when I go to task manager WinMAIL is displayed.
But nothing loads up (no front end). The computer then slows down to halt. The CPU says it is running at 100%
If I try and run it again it says "windows mail cannot be loaded because another instance is running".
I have tried removing antivirus but that hasn't made a difference. I also took the drastic step of doing a system restore but windows mail still refuses to load.
If I load Vista and do not run Windows MAIL i get a small letter shaped icon on the bottom of the screen which says I have 1 message. But alas, I cannot click this icon with either mouse button.
I am not sure what to do now. I have looked in the cpanel but there seems to be no way of removing mail and reinstalling.
Thanks
Phil Palmer
