I installed Vista on my new PC. All was Ok, next steps:
- disinstalled office
- disintalled norton security
- installed AVG (antivirus)
- installed ZONE ALLARM (firewall)
- configured WIFI and LAN
- installed PROTEL99SE (CAE software designed for Windows 2000)
All was ok but a lot of programs of the operating system don't work.
For exemple many program of the control panel give this message (transalted from italian):
" Can't find the file "%SystemRoot%\\system32\\devmgmt.msg"
The variable "System Root" is correctly set to C:\Windows
