Tried upgrading from Vista basic to Premium. Didn`t work now I`ve lost all my files!!
As above.
I purchased Vista Premium from M-Soft and tried upgrading. Using the Windows Anytime Upgrade disk that came with my laptop.
But when I "upgraded" windows just reinstalled Basic, and now I cannot access any of my old files.
It has kept my files in the recycle bin, and my programs, but EVERYTHING else has gone!!
Have tried doing system restore, but won`t restore anything earlier than today when I "upgraded".
Although my hard disk looks funnily full for a new install!!
Help needed please!!
