can't open internet explorer

can some one help me!!!!

mine is vista home basic bundle together with hp compaq dual core 2 duo...and so on....the situation is like this;

1) i can't open my internet explorer even there is a network (wifi or cable)
2) this is happen every time the windows is updating....
3) then i had to do the system restore in order to get the internet explorer working but whenever the windows updating again, the problems reoccur...
4) so i had to do the system restore again....
5) i'm sick and tired with this and need any experts out there to help me on this matter....tq

I have the same problem, did you found a solution to this?

Do you happen to know what it is updating that then causes IE to not work? You using IE 7 or IE 8? Because if it is updating 7 to 8 then on first run of 8 you have to choose your settings and customizations again.

which internet explorer are you running??uninstall it and reinstall latest with fresh updates maybe??

With that mentioned and if that is the problem say you are having problems with IE8, just roll back to IE7 if it worked. Plus I have to say this because I use it, but if all else fails use Firefox
