Regional locale

Hi everybody! My first post.

I have a problem, I need to have both English and Russian on my Vista laptop. I ahve no problem for doing everyday tasks in either language. I also from time to time need to be able to read cd menus etc in Russian, again normally have no problems. I wanted to install some software today and discovered to my chagrin it will install only in Russian language, changing the locale and all regional features back to UK do not solve the problem. Help!!!!! anybody please? I should also mention I have same problem on my xp machine! it's nero so not even strange software.
