password/operative system/color/sound...problem

first of all... i forgot my password, then read the help that suggested me reinstalliing Vista, i did so, after, i lost the configuration of my speakers and else...they just don't work, the other system or whatevr appeared with my account and my sister's.. the problem is hers is standard so i couldn't reset mine, i can't change my old account in the administrator account i'm using now by using cmd 'cause it's like it's in another machine and it doesn't find the user, i cannot change the color of the bars and etc there's no option in the menu am desesperated!!!!!!!
i want to reset my password!!! and delete what i've just installed

If you re-installed vista, all your old user profiles are gone.
Re installing the operating system would wipe everything clean.
You may have to use your recovery discs, or worst case simply start over and install a fresh copy of vista.

Otherwise any problems you are having are probably related to drivers. Search the internet for the drivers for your sound card, video card, etc..

me Old accOunts arent gone they remain there with all the old files i've alredy made up the device trouble, the rest is just the same
