Forgotten Vista Log In Password

Dear all,

I have a new laptop and I'm having problems already.

I set a password for my user account - went on holiday,came back and have forgotten the password.

Is there anyway I can get into the laptop at all?

It won't let me in anymore because I cannot remember the password - I am the only user with an account.

The only way to log in to your account is to reinstall windows. This is the only solution.

After reinstalling windows:

Get a USB drive.
Go to control panel
Go to User Accounts
Click Create a password reset disk..


and thats all
