Outlook 2008 will not send email
Help. i let the program automatically configure itself using pop3 to my gmail account. It goes through all the motions and sends me a test email, which i get to my gmail account. however, when i try to send email using outlook they hang up in my outbox. when i pull up the "outlook send/receive progress" window i get a message saying the progress is processing and that 0 of 1 tasks completed successfully. i don't get an error message. however, the email remains in the outbox and the message does not go out. two other interesting notes are outlook is able to successfully import and display my emails from gmail and it used to be able to send. it just stopped working a few weeks ago. i have not changed anything that i know of. does anyone have any advice? thanks.
