Powerpoint 2007
Hey guys!
I'm, a somewhat techie junkie, but what gets me is Powerpoint 2007. When I'm doing 'intensive' tasks such as copying 25 .5MB photos around the slide, it takes a painful amount of time to complete. My computer idles at 25% even while Powerpoint struggles for 30-45 seconds to complete a task Photoshop CS5 can do in about 2 seconds. Just wondering if this is a known issue that can be fixed, or is this just due to poor coding?
My Rig (Self Built):
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit (I realize this is a Vista forum, but I get alot of tech questions answered here w/ out posting so I thought I would give it a try)
60GB SSD for Boot Drive and Programs
AMD Phenom II x4 B45 3.21GHz (Unlocked Athlon II x3 445 and a mild overclock of 100 mhz)
MSI 850-G45
4GB G. Skill DDR3 1600 Ripjaw Series RAM (Operating at 1333)
MSI GTX 460 1GB (OC'ed to 825/1650/2000)
500 Watt PSU
