Ie9 Printing Script Problem

I have VISTA BUSINESS (Service Pack2 installed) and IE9 with HP psc2410 printer/scanner. Until last week printing from all applications worked well but now attempting to print from IE9 and Windows Mail always fails with error message " Script Error. An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line; 2053.Char; 1.Error; Unspecified error. Code; 0. URL; res://ieframe.dll/preview.js " Test page prints from Control Panel perfectly and no problem printing from Paint, Paint.net, OpenOffice and other applications so printer working OK and connection good.

Can anyone advise how to sort this out. Thanks.

Maybe your browser has a bug or maybe some addon is causng the problem. You could look through your add-ons and disable them. .. restart the browser .. try a printout.

in IE: Tools > Manage add-ons > Toolbars and extensions.

What the error message you got when do not run IE as administrator?

Click Start, input msconfig in the search bar, press Enter. In the General Tab, select "Selective Startup", only check "Load system services". On the Services Tab, select "Hide all Microsoft services", then click "Disable All". Then restart the computer, open the Internet Explorer 9, does it work now?

If it works, then one by one enable the service to check which cause this issue.

How about print from other Browers? How about print a word file ?

Please provide us with detailed error message for further troubleshooting if the steps above doesn't work.

In addition, as a workaround, you can create a shortcut of Internet Exploer 9, make it always run as administrator.

Right-click the shortcut, choose Properties, click Advanced, check Run as administrator. (If you turn on UAC, it will give you a prompt when you start IE.)
