How can I fix this?

This is the only thing that comes up when I try to search for a document/folder. no little dog even, nothing. Terribly annoying since I misplaced some student files with some mysterious key combo that sent them into never never land, and I just need them back.

Please help me!

Of course, when I try to upload a screenshot, it won't let mek, so it's basically just a white area with search bars that don't work, but no description of search for, and a search bar on top with a green dropdown arrow, but nothing to tell me what it is. Also the top of the image has a blue section with a WDSlogo with and x through it.
