Disk Consistency?
Last night, my computer randomly crashed. I wouldn't have thought anything of the occurence had upon rebooting it said "Disks Check Consistency." I had never seen anything like it so I let it do its thing. Eventually the computer rebooted. Since then it has been crashing so I have to restart it with the power button and just turning itself off. I've gotten a black screen too. But whenever it restarts, it's the "Disks Check Consistency" screen. The computer has also been running slower than usual, I think. I ran a virus scan and a registry scan in Norton. I'm doing the Disk Check in the OS Properties now.
I have a Dell 1525 that is about two and a half years old.
