Wireless Networking Question
HI! I purchased a wireless router that accepts a USB modem (or a cell phone) as an internet connection. Previously, I had a USB modem from Verizon that worked well, but not spectacularly. I connected my Western Digital Back-Up Hard Drive and my Lexmark wireless printer through the router and life was good.
Recently, my USB modem died, and the Verizon dude convinced me to replace it with a Palm Pre, that has free Wi-FI hotspot capability. It's faster than than my old USB, and connects wirelessly to my laptop. But, I have to choose between connecting to my Palm Pre in the "connect to a network" window, or my wireless router to back up and print.
I know the smartest choice would be to learn how to connect the Palm to the router, but so far, I've been unsuccessful and very frustrated in this endeavor.
My question is if it is possible to connect to the Wireless Router and the Palm Pre AT THE SAME TIME, through the windows connection manager?
Thanks.
