Pinnacle DVC 80 Driver Compatibility
I've been working for about two weeks now to get any capture card to work on any of my desktops. Right now, I have basically narrowed down the possibilities to a pinnacle dvc working on my quad core desktop. The drivers for the dvc 80 are not supported by anything later than Windows XP, however. That was when I found this thread. I followed the directions to a tee. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, the driver will not load past the screen that says the installer is preparing to start the installshield wizard. Just for good measure, I tried to install the driver on another computer, a Windows 7 machine (I had heard others say they had gotten it to install on 7). Unfortunately, I got the same result. Can anyone help me get this to work? |
