Can't click on desktop items, taskbar, ...
Hi
I'm new here, so forgive me if I posted this in the wrong subforum.
A week ago I received my laptop back from Toshiba, it went in for a replacement of my NVIDIA Geforce 8600M GT video card which crashed for the second time in 2 years.
The same day I got it back I started to experience some problems after a few hours.
I was unable to click on my desktop icons, taskbars, icons in the bottom of the right screen, windows startmenu button, .... The problem is always solved by waiting +/- 90 seconds but then re-occurs.
It just seems like every button or icon freezes for some time.
I don't know what is causing this problem, I tried to update my drivers for the videocard, but that didn't help.
I use an cordless external mouse, but the problem also occurs when I'm using the touchpad, so that's also not the answer.
I'm using a Toshiba Notebook Satellite X200-247 with Windows Vista 32 bit.
I scanned my computer using Malwarebytes, Norton Antivirus but it didn't reveal/solve the problem.
A friend advised to run Combofix, but that also got me nowhere.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem and perhaps could offer me a solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read about my problem and assisting!
Best regards
