Search for a word in the Contacts Folder

I have been trying to figure out how to search for a specific word in the "notes" field in the Contact Manager in Vista. It seems that you can search on many of the other fields like name, phone, email, etc., but not the "note" field. Why MS doesn't allow you to search on all these fields is hard for me to understand. In the past, I have written many Address programs and I always made it possible to do a text search on all the fields. It is so simple, but useful.

I've tried everything to accomplish this task and nothing has worked. I hope somebody can tell me how to do this.
