Desktop dilema
My PC was fine initially, after a new rohm drive was installed and a tweak from the ever fiddlesome computer place , patches etc, the problem appeared. When I put the computer into sleep mode and then awaken it, more often than not there is a wallpaper and nothing else, no icons and nothing you can do to restore them other than to reboot.
Last week, the second PC went in for a new hard drive, something destroyed the old one (1year old) overnight, Guess what? Yes another PC with the exact same problems having never happened until the new drive was installed and the perfunctionary tweeking I would imagine.
Can anybody tell me if they have experienced and solved this problem yet.   |
