Trouble with Program after switching to Vista

Could not operate my FMS Simulator after swiching from XP to Vista.Got instructions on how to do it but it seems to loose me with instructions like save the D3drm.DLL to the computer?????Dont know anything like that. Then it insructs to place the D3DRM.DLL in the C\Windows\SYSTEM32 folder?????? DONT KNOW WHAT THER TALKIG ABOUT.Can somone Help me???
