windows update

My windows update doesnt work anymore. its actually been months now and im am not much of a computer wizards so i know pretty much nothing.

When i click on windows update to open. it actually opens(only showing the border, then immediately shuts down and disappears. any help please????

thanks so much! my comp lagged a bit after, shut down and restarted different but i think everything is ok now. thanks again

Sometimes if you have changed the settings of the windows updates then it is happen. I think you don't have knowledge about the update tool but it can be happen in unawareness. So now after the changes you can handle the things.
