Administrator but no permissions

My computer won't let me download or install programs. Disabling and/or uninstalling antivirus or spyware programs doesn't work, as I then cannot reinstall them. Security center gives me few options. I can tell it doesn't trust me. ???

I'd found an alternative using "UAC," but I'll keep this page bookmarked for future crises of Microsoft-anticipated user ineptitude.
