need help with hotfix files.

hi.
ive got an acer aspire 5315 vista basic laptop. i seem to only have roughly 6GB space left on my c:/ HDD. ive been searching and searching and the only files i can find taking up space are hotfix files, there are 180ish of them and theyre roughly 93 to 98MB each. the only place i was able to find the hotfix files was when i did: RUN : CMD : SYSTEMINFO.
my system is running fine but i want to remove the files so i can have to space to upgrade to windows 7.
