Can't find "Run"/and need advice on Cyan games

Good Evening Vistaheads, I am in need of your help.

First I can not seem to find "run" under the start up menu. Am I just slow?

Also I have a question in regards to Cyan games such as Myst/Riven. I am told these games do not play well under Vista? Is this true and what can I do so I can play these games?

I can't help with the game questions, but to find "Run," click your start button and type "run" (without quotes) into Search.
