comp wont restart log off shut down and cant uninstall norton

I have read all the post about comp not shutting down etc I did a scan and removed what came up.This did not resolve my problem. I tried to uninstall Norton but I cant. I have to turn my computer off then back on everytime I want to get online. What should I do now?

Hi Had enough Some more details would be handy. To uninstall Norton av you need the Norton removal tool Download and run the Norton Removal Tool But be warned, if you intend to install Norton again, you will need your key.

I have to turn off the computer everytime I want to get online. I can not get my computer to log off as it just keeps saying "logging off" but nothing happens. If you stay idol in Internet Explorer after some time when you enter a search it comes up Internet can not display the web page so you have to turn it off again and start over. Same happens when you try to shut down it just does nothing. I tried to run the removal for Norton after I downloaded it to my destop and it does nothing. I ran a Malware scan and cleaned the computer and I ran it again just to be sure there are no bugs.

Had enough. I would suggest at this stage is to see if you have a restore point going back to before the problem started and run system restore. Run it in "safe mode". Let us know if you have any problems with it.
