MSN error code 8000ffff

When helping a friend I moved all document files from the C drive to another partition by clicking on properties -> location. Since that time she cannot login to MSN (newest version) and gets the error code 8000ffff. In her administration account there is no problem. Re-installing doesn't help. Any suggestions?
