Win Mail is doing my head in pls help!

Hi! this is the first time ive had to ask for help so pls dont flame me ^^

I have vista home premium on my laptop and windows mail has been acting weird for a while on it . it must of started with sum update a couple of months ago cus i didnt have the problem from start.

Win mail shuts down my applications and pop up eventho i dont use it as my mail program. infact i dont use any mail program i just use hotmail or gmail. if i play a game it just closes it and starts up. i x it or close it and it just starts again . i swear its got is own life completely and ive tried to mess with it in options and system registry but its all FAIL.. as son i wanna play a java or normal game it just keeps interfearing and closing it putting the win mail window ontop of the desktop . resulting in my death ofc (on whatever game )

its very frustrating not being in control of win mail and not being able to turn it off . i cant even just leave it since it starts itself up.. ive loked everywhere in options and tools and cant find anywhere to keep it from owning me!!!!! pls help b4 i toss this laptop out the window . my wife dont have this problem on hers. my comp is a Lg e500 btw
