I recently restarted my computer and the following error message came up:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disk and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language setting and then click "Next."
3. Click "Repair your computer."
If you do not have this disk, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer fo assistance.
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc000000f
Info: An error occurred while attmepting to read the boot configuration data.
I did everything in the instructions with no avail. I tried to rebulid the bcd also with no avail. As i have a lot of information on my hd i would prefer no to do a clean installation. Please help.
