Sleep & hibernate. Are they good for vista?
Hello,
I've just registered as i'm experiencing some problems with my vista with error messages like 'vista logon process has failed to create the security option dialog'...

I've read somewhere that i should turn off the sleep option and never use it. Same with hibernate. So i was wondering what exactly these options doing, and if they could cause some problems to the OS.

Re: Sleep & hibernate. Are they good for vista?
I wouldn't recommend Sleep or Hibr. Because if you have a power failure data becomes corrupted and you dont think nothing of it at the time because your system booted back up or it doesn't and you do a hard boot off and cold boot it.
just cut it off, vista and or any window's is too sensitive regarding this issue. if im sure most crashed systems start that way.
