Windows vista slow shutdown

Hi all,
I m using windows vista and i am facing a weird problem, that is slow shutdown. It just hangs on shutting down screen for long time. What's the solution for this problem ?

I would check to see how many applications are running and trying to close. Go to CCleaner - Download and click on Alternative Download to download the CClean. Install this software, run & fix your registry. Also, in CClean goto TOOLS & Start up and disable all unnecessarily auto start software. This would be a start. Report back to me the result and I will walk you through other enhancement to make your computer running better.
