Vista 32-bit freezing when unattended :(

Everything's running fine, but if I leave my laptop not doing anything for ~10 mins, it completely freezes. If I leave media player running this is avoided.
I've run check disk (lack of external checking software, alas) and everything seems to be dandy. It's just a bit annoying, if I'm reading something and don't scroll for a while, to then find I can't, because the wretched thing is paralysed.
Any ideas? :S

Ah well, bugger that, because it just froze a minute later.
Am downloading sp2 in the hopes that the problem will magically vanish.

make sure your sp1 is up to date before installing sp2,aint much difference,only spotted bluetooth capability,not much point unless it says recommended
