File association .XLS extension
Hi, I've recently upgraded from Microsoft Office 2003 to Office 2007.
But I'm now having trouble changing the file assoication for .XLS Excel 2003 files, if I open them whilst in Excel 2007 all is fine but obviously if I double click them they they don't open.
I've tried different ways to change the file association, by right clicking on the file and going through properties to change the default program with no success.
I've also tried changing the association through the Default Programs function but when I browse for the Excel 2007 application and open it doesn't appear in the available programs associate.
Anyone get any ideas of whats up? or is there another way I can associate .XLS file extensions to Excel 2007 ie. manually through the registry?
