Display Settings Help!

Hello All,

I hope someone can help me. I have a Sony Vaio VGN - SZ440 with Windows Vista Business as the OS. I recently connected it to a projector for the first time, and I'm not sure how it happened, but I guess the Display settings changed for while I was using the projector. After I disconnected it, the settings did not change back, and now my screen looks like its being stretched sideways. I've tried playing around with the display settings, but none of the options look right when I try them out. I have restarted my computer, and the settings have not changed back. Has anyone else had this happen, and does anyone know how to fix this?

PS my current settings for the display are 1024 x 768 pixels, but it looks stretched out sideways.

try changing your settings in your projector settings or maybe default your display?or if your monitor can auto adjust,try that?
