Downloading Issue
My Girlfriend has a laptop with vista... A few weeks ago she reformatted it because of some critical error....
No major issue except when she is using a browser (and it doesn't matter which IE, or FireFox) and tries to save something , it will download but then the file disappears. For example I try to save something to the desktop like a picture from an email, it will show it saving but then the file will disappear, doesn't matter what kind of extension it is, or the location of the save, same thing it dissappears....
extremely annoying...
I figure it has something to do with "privilege" of her account, but its an admin account on the computer and the only one there is.
I have searched the net and coming up empty handed with lack of information.... has anyone seen this before and if so any idea how to fix this..... I have looked thoroughly though the security settings as well as account privileges but to no avail...
any assistance or advice would be appreciated thank you!
Do I need to reformat and reinstall?
