Re: HELP!! Vista graphics cards
I enable the Vista Aero Graphics user interface you need at least a graphics card with 128MB of memory. I myself would suggest going to a website such as Newegg.com and looking at the cards they have there. I myself use a GeForce 8800GT 512MB OC graphics card and it works great with Vista and supports Vista's native DirectX 10 support. It comes down to what you will be doing to determine what kind of GPU you need.

Re: HELP!! Vista graphics cards
Programs called CPUZ and GPUZ are two free utilities that can show a lot of info about your processor, motherboard, memory, and graphics card too. Mine is GDDR3 too, that is simply the graphic memory that is on the graphics card. Newegg.com has a Geforce 8800 GTS for sale for about $89 after 20 dollar mail in rebate. That would be a great performance increase and a way to possibly go.
