Programs Auto-starting
Hi All
I'm new at this so can anybody tell me how to stop programs that I use infrequently starting up automatically. Windows Live, Seti @ Home and Max Registry Cleaner are examples. Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Programs Auto-starting
click start-conrol panel-under programs click startup programs,if you use windows defender it might might tell you it is turned off, this is because onecare(if you use it)overrides defender, just turn on and it should show you a list of startup programs,enable/diable.or conrol panel-programs,under default STOP A PROGRAMME RUNNING AT STARTUP

Thank you gazzoid. Your instructions did not work for me - I couldn't find startup programs after control panel/programs/startup programs. However you put me on the right track. I opened Defender clicked Tools/Software Explorer/Startup Programs and there they were. Thanks a lot for your help
