Ok to delete AppData Roaming files?
I am a photographer who uses Photoshop CS for post-processing. I am running this on a pretty small laptop used solely for that purpose (all image files are stored on external HDs) and for surfing the web.
Today, I noticed that there is a PhotoshopCS folder within my AppData/Roaming/Adobe/FileBrowser that is taking up 12GB of my hard drive space.
The files contained in this folder appear to be temp files of sorts and based on the filenames, I can tell that most of them have been there for quite some time - they are projects that I have worked on in Photoshop CS.
Is it ok to delete these files even though I will continue to use Photoshop CS? Will deleting these files affect the functionality of the application?
Also, how can I prevent these files from being created, if it is possible to do so? Or... if it is ok to delete these, how often should I clear this folder?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
