Music Folder relocation issue
I have a partitioned hard drive on my laptop. the first partition filled up and I started relocating the folders under my user to the D: Partition. Documents, Downloads and a few others moved as expected and documented. When I moved the Music Folder, I am not sure what happened it was suppose to be on D: but the location in the properties said it was still in its original position. Now instead of Music in the start menu is says local disk D: and when your cursor over it, it says "Store and Play music and other audio files". I have the content of the Music file backed up so I have not lost anything but Itunes can't find the music folder although the itunes folder is in the music folder I have manually created on D:. I have tried the following with no sucess. I have created a music folder on D:\ and tried to relocate from the location Local disk(D to that folder hoping that it would point to that folder. The message says that you can't move a parent location to a child location. I have tried moving the Itunes folder into the D:\ but itunes can't find it there even though it should be able to do that.
I have tried to manually recreate the Music folder in its orginal postion but because it has been moved it doesn't recognize it.
I have tried searching the forum and have not seen anything specific to this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
