email address as file owner
I just discovered this.. I created a bunch of files from my vista compute on a remote NAS and then I try to do stuff from a different (XP) computer and I can't do things like delete the files.
I look at the the owner and files created from the xp machine is different than the owner form the vista machine.
So first, what do I need to do to get the owners to both be the same?
(for some odd reason, vista is using my email address as my user name/owner when I look at properties -> security)
Next, once I get all my user names to be the same, is there an easy way to change all the files to have the new name?
