Windows vista will not let Corel product run

Everytime I try to run Quatro Pro spreadsheet, runtime error occurs. Blank spreadsheet appears in background and it is automatically closed. It appears that windows vista really wants me to convert my word perfect documents and Spreadsheets to Microsoft products
