Sync Toy 2.0 and log onto my network drive
Hi. I have been using Microsoft SyncToy 2.0 for over a year on my Vista Ultimate system, syncing with my WD MyBook World Edition, which is a network drive. The set up has worked successfully for all this time. I just decided to create a user account on my MyBook so I could limit access to the drive and set up passwords(generally a username/password).Now in order to access my folder shares that I set up with SyncToy that reside on my WD I need to log on. The problem is is that SyncToy needs to be informed about this new logon setup and be able to get into the drive so it can perform the Sync. The last schedualed sync showed successful in Windows Task Scheduler but checking the files that should have been updated on my WD I see that they were not. So is there a way to allow sync toy(or Task Scheduler) to log onto my network drive and proceed with the scedualed sync? Thanks in advance.
