ending startup programs
I got into windows defender, to end programs from running on start up. in the software explorer, startup programs list, I cannot hit remove on all the files. For example, I can not remove Windows Defender, among others, from the list. Why?

I don't know why you cant remove them on Windows Defender but you can download "Advanced System Care Free". It has a utility that can let you add and remove startup programs, I really find it useful. You will find it if you go under "utilities" and click on the "Admin. Tools" tab. Its called "startup manager." Hope this helps.
