unwanted keyboard remap
I have a Compaq Presario laptop running Vista Home Premium, and XP Pro.
At home I use it with a second LCD monitor and a wireless keyboard and mouse. I recently disconnected everything to take it with me on a road trip. When I tried to send an e-mail I noticed that several keys have been remaped and cannot figure out how to correct it. The remaping does not occur in XP Pro. I have had this problem previously, but thought it was caused by remote desktop or remote assistance, and the only way I could fix it was to restore Vista. Now, I do not have any restore points in Vista to go back to.
Any one have any clues to get me on the right track? I have already tried removing and reinstalling the keyboards listed in the device manager in Vista, but no change.
