just joined the forum and have been trying to solve a problem with windows updates which seem to be a big problem at the moment,in getting this error code 80244019,which I have managed to solve myself,,so now passing on to help others with the same problem,,,,first go to microsoft malware protection centre,,click on tools and resources,,then look for on the right hand side,,windows defender,,click on scan computer, this will dowload some small files,the it will run,it may take some time but scans your whole computer and fixes all the faults,,then you re-boot and run
the security updates again and it should work,,as it has worked for me..
