Problem with folder icon pictures

Hi,

I have a problem with Vista regarding the cutomising of folders where you can choose a file to show on the folder icon.

I have a large number of music folders containing albums. Within each folder are the MP3's and album covers. When I try and select one of these to be the picture that appears on the folder all I get when I look at the folder is a couple of MP3 icons - which I assume is because Vista is displaying a couple of icons from the MP3's that are contained in the folder.

If I create a folder within the album folder and move all the MP3 files and just leave the album cover file then it displays properly!!

I would really appreciate anyone's advice on what I need to do to display the picture on the folder icon without having to move all the MP3's within the folder to a separate folder.

i too have this same problem and would love to know how to fix this without having to move and create new folders. Its a pain in the butt to do that when you have alot of music and picture folders.
