Google Autofill

Can anyone help me, Why on my P.C does Autofill light up,but not actually work? on my mates P.C (he has XP) it displays forms in yellow but never does on mine even though the autofill display on the toolbar does light up? I don't understand I've filled in all my details so can't see the problem. I know this is a bit of a silly question to people like yourselves but can anyone help please!!
