First i say hi, im new here..
Im from holland.
Im having a problem with my vista x64 installation.
Setup :
CM690 Case
MSI k9n Neo v2 motherboard
AMD 5200+ x2
4gb Kingston DDR2 800
Geforce 8600GT magic 512mb
2 PATA hdd's (160 and 80)
1 SATA hdd (250gb)
When installing my vista x64 bit installation it runs smooth,
but when it comes to the part (after rebooting) "Finishing installation ..." the screen flashes after a while, then like 30 seconds later it crashes.
-I still see vista installation screen
-The ... stopt
-Cant move the mouse
So the problem is i cant install Vista x64
what i have tried :
-other hdd (PATA or SATA)
-other dvd drive
-several Vista dvd's
-pulled one memory module out (2gb)
-tried vista gamers edition, black edition, original
Any help ?
(Now running on a 160gb PATA XP pro)
(I want the Vista on my 250gb SATA)
