I cannot see my Windows Sidebar or Gadgets

Hi guys,
I do not know when it happened...
I was going to run the Windows Sidebar and nothing happened. I clicked on the icon but nothing... no sidebar, no gadgets.
Anybody knows how to reverse this? And, How could this happen?

Please, anybody out there, help!
I want it back
