Unzip password protected files

Hi,

I have dowmloaded a zipped file which is password protected. I have the password, but every time I try to extract a box pops up & disappears almost instantly. I presume this is the password request box, but cannot get it to stay open so I can enter the password.

Is there some some sort of pop-up blocker or permission that I need to (de)activate that I am not seeing?
