What is 4.2.2.2 and can it be used as an alternate DNS server
Can 4.2.2.2 be safely used as an altternate DNS server on a Windows 2000 Server.

Hi Curtis,

it is indeed a DNS Server owned by Verizon.

You can try it and see how it goes.

It depends on where you are located as to whether it will be of any benefit to you as a DNS server that is closer would be faster.
